SPRING CREEK (Victoria County). Spring Creek rises 3½ miles southwest of Fordtran in northern Victoria County (at 29°00' N, 97°06' W). The intermittent stream runs southeast for seventeen miles to its mouth on the Guadalupe River (at 28°50' N, 97°01' W). Its bed traverses flat to rolling prairie surfaced by permeable loam that supports mesquite and various grasses.
