SYCAMORE CREEK (ERATH COUNTY)
SYCAMORE CREEK (Erath County). Sycamore Creek rises twelve miles north of Stephenville and just north of Cross Lake in eastern Erath County (at 32°11' N, 98°04' W) and runs northeast eleven miles to its mouth on Richardson Creek, five miles west of Stephenville at the Hood county line (at 32°17' N, 97°57' W). It crosses steep slopes and benches surfaced by shallow clay loams that support juniper, live oak, mesquite, and grasses.
