SAGE CANYON CREEK
SAGE CANYON CREEK. Sage Canyon Creek rises in the extreme southeast corner of Dickens County (at 33°24' N, 100°32' W) and flows northeast for four miles before joining the East Fork of Dove Creek, four miles southwest of Haystack Mountain in southwest King County (at 33°26' N, 100°30' W). The stream crosses moderately steep slopes with locally high relief and shallow to moderately deep silt loams covered by mesquite and grasses. The canyon and creek are located in isolated ranchland southeast of the Beggs Ranch headquarters.
