SALT BRANCH (Concho County). Salt Branch rises in east central Concho County twelve miles northeast of Eden (at 31°18' N, 99°40' W) and runs thirteen miles northeast to its mouth (at 31°25' N, 99°35' W) on Salt Creek in northeast McCulloch County, ten miles east of Millersview and twenty-four miles northwest of Brady. Flat to rolling terrain is surfaced by sandy and clay loams which support grasses and conifers.
