SULPHUR CREEK (CHEROKEE COUNTY)
SULPHUR CREEK (Cherokee County). Sulphur Creek rises two miles west of Morrill in southern Cherokee County (at 31°35' N, 95°05' W) and runs southwest for five miles to its mouth on the Neches River, 1½ miles southeast of the State Highway 21 bridge (at 31°32' N, 95°08' W). It crosses flat to gently rolling terrain surfaced by clay and sandy loam that supports mixed hardwoods, pines, and grasses.
