TURKEY CREEK (PARKER COUNTY)
TURKEY CREEK (Parker County). A Turkey Creek rises eight miles southeast of Weatherford in southeast Parker County (at 32°40' N, 97°41' W) and runs east for six miles to its mouth on the Clear Fork of the Trinity River, two miles south of Aledo (at 32°40' N, 97°36' W). The area has shallow, stony clay soils that support juniper, oaks, and grasses.
