VICTORIA CREEK. Victoria Creek rises 4½ miles north of Bowie in south central Montague County (at 33°36' N, 97°50' W) and runs north for ten miles before emptying into East Belknap Creek four miles west of Lucky (at 33°44' N, 97°51' W). The surrounding terrain is flat to rolling and surfaced by deep, very fine clay and sandy loams. For most of the county's history the Victoria Creek area has been used primarily as rangeland.
