WALNUT CREEK (ROBERTSON COUNTY)
WALNUT CREEK (Robertson County). Walnut Creek rises seven miles east of Bremond in western Robertson County (at 31°12' N, 96°33' W) and flows for twenty-one miles southwest to its mouth on the Little Brazos River, three miles northwest of Calvert (at 31°00' N, 96°43' W). The stream receives several tributaries; South Walnut Creek, Sandy and Little Sandy creeks, and Willow Creek. The surrounding nearly level terrain is surfaced by loam that supports post oak and grass.
