WHITE OAK CREEK (TRINITY COUNTY)
WHITE OAK CREEK (Trinity County). White Oak Creek rises two miles west of Groveton in central Trinity County (at 31°04' N, 95°10' W) and runs southwest for 4½ miles to its mouth on Caney Creek, one mile west of Dean Cemetery (at 31°01' N, 95°13' W). Flat to rolling terrain around the creek is surfaced by clay and sandy loam that supports conifers, water-tolerant hardwoods, and grasses.
