WILLOW BRANCH (LLANO COUNTY)
WILLOW BRANCH (Llano County). Willow Branch rises two miles southwest of the intersection of State Highway 16 and Ranch Road 965 in southern Llano County (at 30°30' N, 98°43' W) and runs northeast for 4½ miles to its mouth on Sandy Creek, one mile east of that intersection (at 30°33' N, 98°41' W). It traverses an area of the Llano Basinqv characterized by flat to rolling terrain, locally dissected and covered with soils ranging from sandy to clay loams. Vegetation consists primarily of open stands of live oak and mesquite.
