WILLOW CREEK (TRAVIS COUNTY)

WILLOW CREEK (Travis County). Willow Creek rises four miles southeast of Carlson in northeastern Travis County (at 30°25' N, 97°23' W) and runs southeast for twelve miles to its mouth on Wilbarger Creek (at 30°19' N, 97°28' W). The surrounding terrain is generally flat to rolling prairie surfaced by dark, calcareous clays that support mesquite, cacti, and grasses.
