MORRAL BAYOU. Morral Bayou rises just south of the intersection of Farm roads 698 and 1638, in central Nacogdoches County (at 31°42' N, 94°43' W) and flows southwest for fourteen miles to its mouth on Alazan Bayou, two miles northwest of Procella (at 31°30' N, 94°44' W). The surrounding flat terrain has local shallow depression and is surfaced by clay and sandy loam that supports water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses.
