CHURCH MOUNTAIN. Church Mountain, also called Church Peak, is in the far southeastern corner of Nolan County, 2½ miles northeast of its boundary with Coke and Runnels counties (at 32°05' N, 100°12' W). At an elevation of 2,410 feet above sea level, Church Mountain rises 300 feet above nearby U.S. Highway 277.
