COURTHOUSE MOUNTAIN. Courthouse Mountain, with an elevation of 2,986 feet above sea level, rises 380 feet above the Salt Fork of the Brazos River and is sixteen miles south of Ralls in southwestern Crosby County (at 33°26' N, 101°24' W). Shallow loams on the mountain support short grasses, sand sagebrush, and mesquite.
