KELLEY PEAK. Kelley Peak is eight miles southwest of Barksdale in southeastern Edwards County (at 29°40' N, 100°08' W). It rises to a height of 2,242 feet above sea level, 542 feet above nearby Spring Creek. The local terrain is flat with local deep and dense dissection, surfaced by shallow, stony soils that support oak, juniper, and mesquite.
