KYLE MOUNTAIN. Kyle Mountain, with an elevation of 1,353 feet above sea level, is in north central Palo Pinto County (at 32°49' N, 98°19' W). It was named for Dan C. Kyle, a pioneer settler. The local soils are stony, clayey, and loamy, and support live oak, cedar, and mesquite trees.
