OLD BLUE MOUNTAIN
OLD BLUE MOUNTAIN. Old Blue Mountain is in the Glass Mountains fourteen miles northwest of Marathon in northern Brewster County (at 30°25' N, 103°18' W). The summit, at an elevation of 6,286 feet above sea level, rises some 2,260 feet above the Easterwood Ranch, two miles northwest. The local shallow stony soils support oak, juniper, and some mesquite.
