POST OAK MOUNTAIN. Post Oak Mountain is in the Fort Hood Military Reservation two miles north of Killeen in southwestern Bell County (at 31°10' N, 97°42' W). With elevations of 1,011 and 1,015 feet above sea level, its twin peaks rise approximately 110 feet above the surrounding terrain.
