RATTLESNAKE MOUNTAIN. Rattlesnake Mountain is seven miles northeast of Desdemona and two miles east of State Highway 16 in extreme eastern Eastland County (at 32°22' N, 98°31' W). Its summit, at an elevation of 1,618 feet above sea level, rises 368 feet above State Highway 16.
