RED MOUNTAIN. Red Mountain stands four miles southeast of Click in southeastern Llano County (at 30°31' N, 98°33' W). At an elevation of 1,222 feet, the summit rises 230 feet above nearby Comanche Creek. Local topography is rolling to steep, covered with soils ranging from shallow and stony to sandy and clay loams. Vegetation consists primarily of open stands of live oak and mesquite.
