ROUND HILL. Round Hill is 1½ miles north of Albany in north central Shackelford County (at 32°49' N, 99°17' W). Its summit, at an elevation of 1,560 feet above sea level, rises 209 feet above the surrounding terrain. Round Hill stands amid rolling hills, surfaced by clay and sandy loam soils that support scrub brush, mesquite, cacti, and grasses.
