SUNSHINE HILL. Sunshine Hill is just off Farm Road 1739 two miles northeast of the North Fork of the Buffalo Creek Reservoir in the center of the Sunshine Hill oilfield in northwest Wichita County (at 34°04' N, 98°48' W). Despite its slight elevation of 1,207 feet the summit can be seen for miles when the sun shines on it. The unincorporated rural community of the same name is nearby.
