DUGGEYS LAKE. Duggeys Lake, also known as Old Salt Works Lake, is a natural lake six miles west of Palestine in southwestern Anderson County (at 31°44' N, 95°44' W). It drains into Wolf Creek near the junction of Wolf and Town creeks. The Palestine Salt Works were probably in the vicinity of the lake.
