MUD LAKE. Mud Lake is a small lake east of the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center in southeastern Harris County (at 29°34' N, 95°04' W). The mouth of Armand Bayou is found at the north end of Mud Lake, and Clear Lake joins Mud Lake at its south end. Mud Lake is in a highly urbanized area with flat terrain and soil consisting of clay and sandy loams.
