Depression to Prosperity
Students will assume the role of a minority living in Texas in the 1920s. They will write a journalentry that reflects their feelings as to how they are treated, what changes they would like to see, and if they believe the “new” organizations will really help. Students will read the “Conservatives vs. Liberals” to “The Assassination” sections and complete the chronology and timeline activities.
