Notable Earthquakes in Texas
Students write a short essay explaining significant earthquake locations in Texas. Include in the essay the destruction caused by the earthquake, loss of life or injuries, and economic devastation. Students will create an annotated timeline. They will choose 20 earthquake dates and create a color illustration for each. Timeline annotation must include day, month and year of occurrence, what happened, and location.
