"Teaching Diversity: A K-12 Guide to Teaching About Jews, Judaism, and Israel in the Public School Classroom."
"Teaching Diversity" is aligned with Chapter 113. Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills for Social Studies, Beginning with School Year 2011-2012. This GUIDE provides a comprehensive list of all K-12 standards that reference Jews, Judaism, and Israel; religious and cultural diversity; and the impact of diverse groups on history, government, law, and geography and aligns these with resources for developing accurate curricula and lesson plans. This document includes Jewish impact on/contributions to the history of the State of Texas.
