The Laws of Texas


Originally published in 1898 by H.P.H Gammel, the Laws of Texascontained all the laws concerning Texas passed by the Mexican Congress (at both the state or federal levels), by the Congress of the Republic of Texas, and by the state of Texas. This section contains digitized transcriptions of the laws in this collection that touched in slavery, agriculture, and taxation in Texas during the years between 1821 and 1845
