The unique history of Texas is shaped by stories from the myriad women who influenced the politics, economy, and culture of Texas. To ensure these women receive proper recognition, TSHA invites you to
The Texas Women Making History Luncheon
an opportunity to raise awareness and funds for the Handbook of Texas Women Project
Featuring Congresswomen Eddie Bernice Johnson
Monday, November 20, 2017
11:30am to 1:30pm
Driskill Hotel, Austin, Texas
$75/person or table sales available
Funds raised through the luncheon will enable TSHA to add entries to the Handbook of Texas Women project, improve the free content bundles we offer to students and teachers, and expand the interactive historical marker map found on the Handbook of Texas Women project website. Your support will help us expand and enhance the Handbook as we seek to further broaden its reach.
